My Sharona!

This has been getting me through the last 2 weeks. Saw this clip from the movie Reality Bites a while back and loved it, then watched the movie (only about 17 years late! It was out in 1994!). It just makes me happy :) And Janeane Garofalo is awesome.

An evening at the harbour

These pics are somewhat delayed, considering Her Majesty, Queen Mary ||, departed some 2 weeks ago. Also, the pics of the actual ship mostly look like I took a massive snort of coke before I shot them, but I like them anyway.
It's so awesome at the harbour at night, wanna do that more often.
I sat on the edge of a wall, only to get up again very quickly after discovering these mean dudes and all over the wall, with all their homies and extended families. Eeek!

Art and design by Eduardo Recife

I came across this stuff a long time ago, but forgot that I had meant to blog it :P
Here it is now, the artwork of Eduardo Recife. I absolutely love the elements in his design, the colours and the whole vibe. Very kiff indeed!

He is an artist, illustrator, graphic designer, and typographer from Brazil, and creator of Misprinted Type, a website featuring his personal works, collages, drawings, and typefaces.

Holy Rumbling Tummies!

I love food, I love photography, I love pretty cutlery and crockery,  I love food photography... and so I love miss moss's breakfast tumblr! It's pretty much guaranteed to get you salivating at any time of the day.
Warning: It's addictive. And makes you hungry. And gives you BE (Breakfast Envy).
I wish all these people would come over for a visit at breakfast time and feed me.
(Yes, that's an invitation, if you're reading this.)

Stuff you could buy me, if you want :)

Love this pic, hehe :)

Downtown from Behind

Loving this photo project, Downtown From Behind:
"New Yorkers ride their bikes through the streets of lower Manhattan"
The photographs are taken by Bridget Fleming who moved to the Lower East Side from Australia in 2008. She hopes to capture "the heartbeat of New York" through the city's most creative residents - writers, designers, chefs, models, musicians, entrepreneurs and actors.
“It’s a nonportrait portrait,” Ms. Fleming said. “The shots are composed as if the biker has center stage, but the street and the whole collection are the stars.”

Durban explorations (part 1)

So I went on a bit of an out-and-about yesterday, had SUCH a rad time exploring and saw such awesome stuffs! :) People get kinda odd and suspicious and think you're a weirdo when you whip out a camera and wanna take pics of their stuff though :P But I tried anyway.
I got so many pics that I love that I decided I had to divide this into 2 parts... Or possibly 3.
