Geode Street Art

Paige Smith is an artist and graphic designer from Los Angeles who, amongst other rad things, creates this beautiful, somewhat magical street art. They're actually geodes* made out of paper and painted.
(*I didn't know that these were called geodes either! They're awesome.)
I love these pieces, they look so cool, it's such a great idea!

The Letters! They're Alive!

I love this idea! Masumi Kobayashi wanted to explore change, and so created seed letters: "she planted beansprout seeds in the shape of letters that would grow and change their shape over time." Makes me wanna try it myself!

HAH! How amazing are these guys?! I kinda squawked when I saw them. It seems that when I find collage art it always happens in groups. So this is more awesome collage awesomeness by ( Ma + Chr ), an art and design studio made up of Mathilde Aubier and Christine Delaquaize, based in Paris. 

What's a bit weird is that they don't really look that weird... it just seems to work so well!
