Watercolour Explorations...

Been playing around with watercolour painting...
Haven't ever done this before and don't really have much knowledge on it, so don't judge too much, haha. These were done using very amateur paints, brushes and paper, since I'm just feeling it out for now before I invest in the good stuff...

Elisabeth McNair from Afternoon Pity Party

This awesomely talented lady has been getting a lot of exposure in blog land lately, but I have to put in my 2 cents' worth as well because I'm such a huge fan of her work. Her illustrations have so much feeling behind them, and I love the aged look they have - like they've been scanned in from old books.

The Bitter Chocolatier

An oldie but a goodie... I came across this gem sometime last year, bookmarked it, and forgot to share it. I came across it again while cleaning out said bookmarks and still think it's worth sharing. The Bitter Chocolatier is a chocolate brand concept by Miguel Molina for a college project. I love the whole thing - packaging, design and concept.
