Carlos Meira is one flipping talented guy! These paper sculptures are real works of art - the level of intricacy and detail in them is truly amazing. He comes from Rio de Janeiro, and brings that flavour through beautifully in his creations.

Lovely Local Prints by Sera Holland

Sera Holland is a graphic and textile designer based in Cape Town, and she creates these fantastic bespoke fabric prints which she then turns into products like cushions, napkins and wallpaper.

Hand-drawn Postcards

A batch of hand-illustrated and painted postcards, soon to be for sale. (The gold is metallic paint - doesn't show up much in photos.) Had fun doing these and pretty stoked with the way they turned out. What do you think? Your feedback means a lot to me :)

At Liberty - A New Durban Spot!

Hi Friends! I want to share with you a lovely little place I was introduced to by my good friend Jem.
At Liberty is a wonderfully tranquil and peaceful hidden space. To get to it you have to go all the way through the interiors shop, Couch+Interiors, to the back and up some stairs - and you're met with a pretty peaceful space to chill out and eat some yummies. The food was great, as was the vibe and the friendly owner. When they get their wifi set up, this may very likely become one of my new office spaces :)

Absolutely love the pink server above! And the wall below was a fave - how lovely are the plants on it? Especially that beautiful little window ledge all the way up there.

And they have a fabulous little bathroom with beautiful wallpaper and a mirrored ceiling! Hah.

Karen Barbé's Work is Sew Sew Fun!

I absolutely love the work of textile designer, Karen Barbé. I have always had a thing for embroidery and sewing crafts, and have been wanting to get back into it for a long time now... time to dust off that needle and thread and have some fun! Her stuff has really added to my inspiration to get going again.
