Business Card Designs Featuring an Illustrated Fox & Hare

A little while ago I was commissioned to design some business cards for the chef and restauranteur at local restaurant, Vovo Telo. She'd seen my business cards and was inspired by the variations and illustrations and asked for something based on that idea.

So we ended up with five different card designs because she loved them all and couldn't bear to leave any out, but unlike mine they all have their own fronts and backs.

It was so much fun drawing and painting these characters and I'm so happy with how they turned out! I used a combination of brush pen and watercolour paint...

    Not that I don’t like it, but why foxes and bunnies? I’m just curious why you chose the illustration. I expected some foodie stuff or a chef hat to signify a restaurateur. Well, it’s cute anyway. http://www.digitalprintink.net/index.iml?mdl=subPage/view.mdl&PAGE_ID=49402

    Hi Bobette! I totally agree, I also felt something foodie would be more fitting, however the foxes and hares were the client's request as they have special meaning to her, so were not chosen by me. Might also be a good thing that it's different from what would be expected and expresses some of who she is rather than just what she does :)

    Hi Gugu, they're printed on a paper called Tortilla.
