Belle Fleur de Lis
Totally smitten with this pretty lady and her blog. I love crochet, tried it myself for a while, but I guess I didn't have enough patience at the time... making a little crochet flower took me forever! After seeing her beautiful work I'm inspired to give it another go.

The Happy Film
"The Happy Film is a feature-length documentary in which graphic designer, Stefan Sagmeister, undergoes a series of self-experiments outlined by popular psychology to test once and for all if it’s possible for a person to have a meaningful impact on their own happiness."
"The Happy Film takes a look at the strategies serious psychologists ‘recommend to improve one’s personal well-being and overall happiness. Questions such as ‘Is it possible to train our mind in the same way’ that we train our bodies?’ and ‘Can we change our behavior to make’us happier?’will be put to the test in this highly visual documentary.
Sagmeister will attempt a long list of various strategies – ‘from the sublime to the ridiculous – and report back on the results. ‘The documentary’s experiments and explorations are loosely based on Stefan’s book Things I Have Learned in My Life So Far. Though the focus will be on the ability of meditation, cognitive therapy, and pharmaceuticals to significantly alter well-being – the maxims from his book will ‘serve as access points to a larger exploration of happiness, it’s cultural’ significance, our constant pursuit of it, and its uniquely ephemeral nature. Throughout these experiments, our team will work closely with a group of health professionals to properly define and assess Stefan’s happiness.
The movie is due to be released early next year. Amped! It sounds rad.

La vie de Bohème
"I use this blog as a place to store pictures I have found. I am currently a student nurse and use this blog as an escapism. Never a fan of the 'contemporary' un-lived-in look, I love to collect and hoard."
Really loving the feel of these images from Moon to Moon. They look like somewhere I'd like to live one day, or run away in a kiff caravan like the one below and be a gypsy. I, too, am a bit of a hoarder and I love this comfy, lived-in, whimsical, bohemian, gypsy sort of vibe. Although none of the images are her own, they all have a very consistent feel to them, and something about the lighting and colours (when looking at the all the images together on her blog) make them look so sad and nostalgic. In a good way.
Her other blog has some beautiful images as well.

I listen to this song so often that I thought it deserves a mention on here. I mostly listen to it in my car on the way to work (and sometimes on the way home as well), great to get ya going in the morning, haha!
